This is a perfect date movie. It is funny and warm, with an interesting plot overall. They didnt attempt to explain some weird supernatural event, instead just centering on the idea of the story and the charactors it centers around. The mainly british cast (the story is set in London) really makes this movie come to life. Gwyneth Paltrow really does an excellent job, though I still have to see Shakespere in Love to see if she deserved the Oscar. The only major issue I had was the ending, though I had a hard time figuring out how to end it myself. The disc is one of Miramaxs movie rapings with a non-anamorphic picture, no commentary, not even a trailer. It did have a Dolb Digital soundtrack that did wonders for the excellent musical score, but this is to be expected for a new movie. Overall it was a movie that once again restored my feelings that not every movie has to have Paris get blasted with a big rock to hit the screen.
